The Netsolus Network
For most clients the data center can be the best one in the world, but if the connectivity to the Internet and Outside world is limited, their isn’t much appeal.
The Design:
When the engineers at Netsolus went to design the network, they knew that they needed to design a system that behaves like one large data center. by doing this, they would be able to service almost any client’s needs with a competitively priced and designed solution.
The basic premise behind the design of the collocation system is every data center in each market will be tied together with a 10J owned dark fiber ring. This ring will allow us to treat the network and data centers as one large unit. Through the use of DWDM Ethernet equipment the ring can support upwards of 400Gbps today, with the ability to scale to over 4Tbps as 100Gbps Ethernet equipment becomes available.
For the cross market design a high speed fiber ring would tie the two systems together with 10Gbps links terminated to alternate data centers in each market. This design would make connectivity to any 10J data center a 2N design with the ability to offer clients needing Tier IV reliability, a solution by collocating equipment in Wallstreet KC and Brandis Omaha.
