For the last year or so, we as been working with our new and existing clients to create solutions that minimize the risks for business loss. Many of these solutions where technology based, but as we continued to help more clients, the solutons started to also focus around the correct architecture designs and procedures.
Based on these experiences, we have continued to expand our business continuity practice. For 2008 we are excited to announce that we are in the process of hiring the same risk analysts that the insurance companies use to build their risk models. We feel that by logically analyzing the entire risk landscape for a business, we can better focus the budgetory resources on the most likely event risks.
By using a focused mathmatical approach to business continuity planning, the guesswork is taken out of the decisions and a better product for the client is created.
The Engagement:When we start the engagement with a client seeking business continuity planning we look at four key areas.
- Client's customer facing services.
- The current methods and processes for safegaurding information resources.
- The company culture.
- The nature of the client's products and services.
