Tier II data center with over 9000 Sqft of floor space. Oak Tower is one of the key Fiber transit buildings for Kansas City. Originally the building housed the AT&T Central Office of all of the Kansas City Metro area. Today this building is home to Verizon, American Fiber Systems, Cogent Communications and several other key transit and telecommunications infrastructure providers.

HE and IPv6 maintenance Announcement

On Thursday, July 26th, 2011 between 10pm and 11pm will we be bringing our peer with HE in Kansas City down and moving it to our new IPv6 core infrastructure. This will put us on the IPv6 and IPv4 Internet backbones and pave the way for future upgrades.

This will not affect our Kansas City collocation connectivity.

We will post a updates as needed to keep everyone up to date.

IPV6 and Core Network

Netsolus Consulting is pleased to announce our new 3.2 Terabit a second, fully IPv6 capable core has been brought into production.

With these upgrades we can ensure that our abilities to deliver the next generation of IP services to all our clients will be fully realized.

In addition ARIN has finalized there assignment of a IPv6 /32 to Netsolus Consulting. As part of this assignment Netsolus will be working to assign /64 IPv6 assignments to all clients and working toward getting all clients running dual stack in the near future.

As a premier Kansas City data center and managed services provider we look forward to assisting all our current and future clients with their solution needs whether they are on IPv4, IPv6 or both stacks.

Colocation or Collocation?

Why so many different spellings?

Unfortunately in the data center industry their has been a debate on which spelling is the correct spelling for colocation. Some professionals, like lawyers seem to think that the collocation spelling is the correct spelling. This is why our contracts use the collocation spelling.

If we look at Google searches on the keyword terms for colocation and collocation, the general public seems to use both colocation and collocation evenly. This means to get the best visibility for our site we have to use the two spellings throughout our site. So hopefully our liberal use of both spellings doesn’t distract you from reading about our excellent managed services offerings.
